Volunteer and Intern Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

The Alliance always needs volunteer support at our events, including our annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival in South Lake Tahoe in March, our annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Truckee in early summer, and at our bi-annual Conference (2018 location TBD) in late summer. If you are interested in volunteering at any of these events, please check out their event pages (as they become available) and reach out to Carley O’Connell, Program Associate, at carleyATsierranevadaalliance.org or 530-542-4546.

Given the small size of our staff, the Alliance could also benefit from a volunteer who would be interested in helping with office management duties in our Truckee office. These duties might include assisting with donor mailers (stuffing and addressing envelopes), making phone calls to donors and potential donors, assisting with filing, and other tasks as they become relevant. If you are interested in helping the Alliance out in this way, please contact Carley O’Connell, Program Associate, at carleyATsierranevadaalliance.org or 530-542-4546.
