Donald Trump is a threat to the future of our planet, the safety of our communities, and the health of our families. The new administration has attacked the hard-won protections of our climate, health, and communities, and the rights of people of color, workers, indigenous people, immigrants, women, LGBTQIA, young people, and more. We’ve fought back with a wave of protests larger than at almost any other point in history — let’s make sure that we mark the 100th day of his presidency with another mass action that stands up for our communities.
Meet at Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe at 10 am on Saturday, April 29th. We’ll march to the South Tahoe Earth Day Celebration at Bijou Park starting at 10:30 am. We hope to also be celebrating the City of South Lake Tahoe’s 100% Renewable Energy Pledge (they’re voting on this on April 18th, make sure you’ve signed our petition here to help encourage them)!
RSVP through our Facebook event page here or through our national event page here.

Sierra Nevada Alliance’s 22nd Conference – 2016
August 25-27th, 2016 | Miners Foundry, Nevada City, CA
The 2016 Conference aimed to activate the Alliance we have built over the last 22 years by engaging and exciting our Member Groups and individual activists around environmental issues affecting the Sierra. We worked together to choose issue-based campaigns to pursue over the next 1-3 years. The process included identifying Issue Leaders – Member Groups and individuals – to lead each issue area with support from the Alliance network. The Alliance acted as a hub to coordinate and provide accountability, connections, and resources. The weekend was full of networking opportunities, educational and inspirational speakers, good food, and a beautiful venue. The Conference is always open to all, so join us next time! More information, photos, and reviews can be found here.
Information, photos, and reviews about our 2015 Conference, held in North Lake Tahoe, can be found here.
