Development Director

The Development Director, working closely with the Executive Director, is responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive fund development program that procures financial resources for the work of the Alliance. They are responsible for leading the organization’s grant program, individual donor, major donor, fundraising events, and Member Group programs. The Development Director works on all organizational fundraising efforts. They will design, implement, and analyze all fundraising activities, including but not limited to: major donor cultivation and solicitation, grant writing and research, donor research, direct mail, membership management and cultivation, and planned giving. This position is a contract position offered at $29/hour, part-time, at 20 hours per week, through June 30th, 2017. The position will be extended and possibly transitioned to staff based depending on available funds raised. This position reports to the Executive Director.

Administrative Assistant

The Alliance Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Alliance Executive and Financial Directors to benefit all program areas of the organization. This position is part time at 20 hours per week. They will assist with program and financial administration, manage the filing system, help with event planning and implementation, and perform other duties as assigned. These administrative duties include answering phones, filing, assisting with communication and outreach, on the ground support and planning for Alliance events, and other duties as assigned. The Assistant will also spend 10% of their time on Member Group Support. As Member Group support, the Assistant will lead the Member Group Renewal drive each year, producing and updating materials and website, issuing notices and invoices, recruiting new organizations and tracking membership.
