Since 1993, the Sierra Nevada Alliance has been protecting and restoring Sierra lands, water, wildlife, and communities. Our mission is to protect and restore the natural resources of the Sierra Nevada for future generations while promoting sustainable communities. We provide resources and networking opportunities to regional conservation groups, implement the Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership Program, and advocate on behalf of “The Range of Light.”

Join us in 2018 for two of our flagship events: Our 13th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival in South Lake Tahoe on March 31st and our Bi-Annual Conference in North Lake Tahoe on August 16th-17th.

The Request for Applications to host a 2018-19 SNAP Member has been released. Applications will be accepted April 1, 2018 – May 25, 2018. Please click here to learn more.

This PSA on the Alliance’s work was created in conjunction with the 2017 Give Back Tahoe Campaign by TTCTV.
